Adam Smalley McLaren Photo Competition - Full Terms and Conditions
Please read and understand the Full Terms and Conditions for the Adam Smalley Photo Competition (the “Competition”) taking place at the PistonHeads Annual Service event on Saturday, 10th August 2024.
By participating in the Competition, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Competition is promoted and managed by Car Finance 247 Limited (“Car Finance 247,” company number: 06035525) whose registered office is at Universal Square, Devonshire Street North, Manchester, United Kingdom, M12 6JH (the “Promoter”).
These Terms and Conditions apply so far as the law permits, so please read them carefully.
Can I enter the Competition?
Any individual who meets the criteria conditions below during the event will be eligible to enter the Competition.
The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or above at the time of entry.
Entry to the Competition is limited to one entry per person per social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
How do I enter?
To enter, you must:
- Take a picture of Adam Smalley and/or his McLaren at the PistonHeads Annual Service event on Saturday, 10th August 2024.
- Post the picture on your social media (Facebook or Instagram).
- Tag Adam Smalley and the Car Finance 247 official page in your post.
- Follow both Adam Smalley and Car Finance 247 on the social media platform you used for the post.
Entries must be posted between 09:00 on Saturday 10th August and 17:00 on Sunday 11th August 2024 (“the Qualifying Period”).
Only entries meeting these Terms and Conditions will be eligible to receive the prize.
If, for any reason, a technical interruption, fault, or site failure occurs, Car Finance 247 does not take any responsibility for the inability to enter the Competition, and any such entries will not be considered valid.
Minimum Entry Requirement
The Competition requires a minimum of 50 valid entries to run. If fewer than 50 valid entries are received, the Competition will be cancelled, and no prize will be awarded.
Disqualification
Entries will be monitored, and any inappropriate content, or failure to meet the entry criteria, will result in disqualification of the relevant individual from the Competition.
The Prize
The Prize for the Competition will be £250 cash.
- The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged other alternatives.
- The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs and/or expenses in relation to the Prize (without limitation).
Winner Selection
Providing the minimum number of entries is met, the winner will be selected at random from all valid entries posted during the Qualifying Period. The winner will be notified via the social media platform used for entry within 7 days of the end of the Qualifying Period. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within 3 working days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs and/or expenses in relation to the Competition (without limitation).
In all circumstances, the Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Liabilities
Car Finance 247, or their respective group companies, or their affiliates, agents, officers, or employees will be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding this Competition or as a result of an applicant’s participation in it, participation in any activities, or as a result of the applicant collecting, using, or enjoying the prize, or if the Competition does not run as planned.
This clause does not seek to exclude the liability of Car Finance 247, any related third party, and its respective group companies for (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and/or (c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for it to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
Car Finance 247 may change these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Competition at its absolute discretion and without incurring liability as a result. Where the Promoter changes these Terms and Conditions, it will notify applicants as soon as reasonably possible.
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising therefrom shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and the Competition including non-contractual claims.
Save for any promotional activities carried out by Car Finance 247, the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with any other third party. No third party is responsible to participants in respect of any aspect of this Competition. By applying for this Competition, you are providing information to Car Finance 247. The information provided will be used in accordance with Car Finance 247 Limited’s Privacy Policy as set out at https://www.carfinance247.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.
Use of Competition Entries and Personal Data
By winning the Competition, you agree that the Promoter (and its agents, contractors, and group members on its behalf) may use your name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Rules for Competition
You agree that by entering this Competition, you will comply with the terms and conditions of the Competition as set out in these Terms and Conditions, and all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity, and the access or use of Car Finance 247’s computer or communication systems. Entries which are found or suspected to violate such laws and/or regulations and/or any third-party rights will be disqualified from the Competition, and the prize will be forfeited.
