Please read and understand the Full Terms and Conditions for the 2 Hospitality Ticket Giveaway to the British GT at Donington on Saturday, 7th September 2024.
By entering your information after scanning the QR code during the qualifying period of the Giveaway (the “Giveaway”), you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Giveaway is promoted and managed Car Finance 247 Limited (“Car Finance 247, company number: 06035525) whose registered office is at Universal Square, Devonshire Street North, Manchester, United Kingdom, M12 6JH (the “Promoter”).
These Terms and Conditions apply so far as the law permits, so please read them carefully.
Can I enter the Giveaway?
Any individual who scans the QR code and enters their information during the qualifying period will be automatically entered into the Giveaway.
The Giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 or above at the time of entry.
Entry to the competition is limited to one entry per person. After entering, participants must complete a lap on the McLaren simulator to be eligible for the Prize.
How do I enter?
To enter, scan the QR code provided at the event and submit your information on Saturday, 10th August 2024 (“the Qualifying Period”) during the PistonHeads Annual Service event.
Qualifying entrants will then be required to complete a lap on the McLaren simulator. The entrant with the fastest lap time will win 2 hospitality tickets to attend the British GT at Donington on Saturday, 7th September 2024, provided that all of the following conditions are met: a) The winner completed the fastest lap on the McLaren simulator during the Qualifying Period. b) The winner submitted their information via the QR code.
Only entries submitted during the Qualifying Period and meeting these Terms and Conditions will be eligible to receive the prize.
If, for any reason, a technical interruption, fault, or site failure occurs, Car Finance 247 does not take any responsibility for the inability to enter or complete a lap on the simulator, and any such entries will not be considered valid for the Giveaway.
Disqualification
Entries will be monitored and any inappropriate behaviour, cheating, or tampering with the simulator will result in disqualification of the relevant individual from the Prize Draw.
The Prize
The Prize will be 2 hospitality tickets to see the British GT at Donington on Saturday, 7th September 2024.
- The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
- Tickets will be provided prior to the event. You must provide accurate contact information on the form for these tickers to be transferred.
- Hospitality is for the exclusive use of the individual(s) named in the reservation.
- You may not transfer, assign, or sell your reservation to any other individual or party.
- Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Any damage to the hospitality area or its contents caused by negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the individual(s) named in the reservation.
Winner Selection
The winner will be selected based on the fastest lap time recorded on the McLaren simulator within the Qualifying Period. The winner will be notified via the contact information provided within 7 days of the end of the Qualifying Period. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within 3 working days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select the next fastest lap time as the replacement winner.
The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs and/or expenses in relation to the Giveaway (without limitation).
In all circumstances, the Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Liabilities
Car Financer 247, or their respective group companies, or their affiliates, agents, officers, or employees will be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding this Giveaway or as a result of an applicant’s participation in it, participation in any activities, or as a result of the applicant collecting, using, or enjoying the prize, or if the Giveaway does not run as planned.
This clause does not seek to exclude the liability of Car Finance 247, any related third party, and its respective group companies for (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and/or (c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for it to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
Car Finance 247 may change these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Giveaway at its absolute discretion and without incurring liability as a result. Where the Promoter changes these Terms and Conditions, it will notify applicants as soon as reasonably possible.
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising therefrom shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and the Giveaway including non-contractual claims.
By choosing to enter the competition, you will be indicating that you consent to receiving marketing messages from us to your device in respect of similar products and services. You may opt out of receiving further marketing at any time by emailing info@carfinance247.co.uk.
Save for any promotional activities carried out by Car Finance 247, the Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with any other third party. No third party is responsible to participants in respect of any aspect of this Giveaway. By applying for this Giveaway, you are providing information to Car Finance 247. The information provided will be used in accordance with Car Finance 247 Limited’s Privacy Policy as set out at https://www.carfinance247.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.
Use of Giveaway Entries and Personal Data
By winning the Giveaway, you agree that the Promoter (and its agents, contractors, and group members on its behalf) may use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Rules for Giveaway
You agree that by entering this Giveaway, you will comply with the terms and conditions of the Giveaway as set out in these Terms and Conditions, and all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity, and the access or use of Car Finance 247’s computer or communication systems. Entries which are found or suspected to violate such laws and/or regulations and/or any third-party rights will be disqualified from the Giveaway, and the prize will be forfeited.
