Tell me about your role and what you do on a normal day.
As a Collections Accounts Manager, I collect on customer agreements in arrears while upholding and promoting the 247 Money principles and behaviours - this is at the same time as assessing a customer’s individual circumstances.
What made you want to join 247 Money?
I was made redundant from my previous job during lockdown, however, I wanted to continue my career in collections and 247 Money seemed like the perfect place!
How do you stay motivated day-to-day?
Every single day is different! Every customer has a different story and background, which allows me to give my best to any new challenges that come my way.
What has been your biggest challenge so far and how did you overcome it?
Last year I had to deal with a situation at home that brought on stress and anxiety. The 247 Money team and management were fantastic and offered great support both in and outside of work.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love the vibe of the 247 Money office; the team makes every day brilliant. The satisfaction of hearing good feedback from customers keeps me motivated to keep building those relationships and maintaining current ones.
Where do you see yourself in five years' time?
In five years, I would hope that I would still be with 247 Money. I would love to be in a more senior role, potentially as a Senior Collector Team Leader or Team Leader. I would love to lead a team and help 247 Money establish themselves even more.
